Legal
Terms
The conditions that apply to this website and to Filecoin Wallet software.
Software risks
Wallet software interacts with a public blockchain network. Transactions submitted to the Filecoin network are generally irreversible, and mistakes such as an incorrect destination address cannot be undone by anyone.
Self-custody responsibility
Filecoin Wallet is self-custodial. You are responsible for your recovery phrase and for the security of the device you use. Loss of a recovery phrase means loss of access to the accounts it controls, and no party can restore it for you.
Filecoin Wallet support will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.
No financial advice
Nothing on this website is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Information about FIL, Filecoin or FVM is provided for general understanding only.
Availability
This website and any published software are provided on an as-available basis. Product specifications may change; consult the release details for included capabilities.
External services
Links to Filecoin ecosystem resources, explorers and documentation lead to services operated by others. Their content and terms are outside the control of this website.
Filecoin ecosystem references
References to Filecoin, FIL and FVM describe the network and its ecosystem. Filecoin Wallet is designed around FIL accounts and transaction review.
Intellectual property
The Filecoin Wallet name, site content and product design are protected. Filecoin ecosystem names and marks remain with their respective holders.
Limitations of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no liability is accepted for loss of funds, loss of data or other damages arising from use of this website or of wallet software, including losses caused by a lost recovery phrase, a compromised device or an unverified download.
Governing terms
No legal entity or governing jurisdiction is specified on this page.
